New Books in Religion and New Books in Islamic Studies

The idea is simple. Author writes a book, we talk about it. These are really interesting conversations that reveal how an author got interested in studying religions, what events shaped their particular interests, the process of formulating these ideas in a book format, and the specific arguments and content from a given book. For me, making our very valuable work accessible and digestible for both an interested public audience and our busy colleagues is extremely important.
