I’m excited to visit the University of Arkansas, October 6, to talk about my forthcoming book, Interpreting Islam in China: Pilgrimage, Scripture, and Language in the Han Kitab (Oxford University Press, 2017).

My talk, entitled “The Han Kitab: Interpreting Islam in China,” will introduce the genre and the historical context from which it emerged.
