I’ve really enjoyed working with The Journal of Religion & Film folks over the past few years, including it’s founder Bill Blizek and its current editor John C. Lyden. Bill was my colleague at the University of Nebraska Omaha for several years.

Recently, the main event has been the International Conference on Religion & Film. We’ve had wonderful turnouts for the previous conferences – Omaha (2014), Istanbul (2015), Syracuse (2017), and Toronto (2018).

The 2019 International Conference on Religion & Film will be on June 12-14, 2019 at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Canada. Our host is Syed Adnan Hussain.

The Call for Papers is available now. Proposal are due March 1, 2019.
