Very excited that Old Dominion University’s Department of Communications & Theater Arts will host director Susan Youssef for a screening of her latest film Marjoun & The Flying Headscarf, followed by a Q&A discussion.

We will also host a panel discussion on “Representations of Arab Americans in Contemporary US Media” on Friday, September 27, from 2-4 PM, in BAL 9024.

Panelists will include Susan Youssef, Shadi Bayadsi (ODU Department of World Languages & Cultures), and myself.
