Interpreting Islam in China, University of Vermont, April 23

I’m excited to visit the University of Vermont on April 23 to deliver the Claire M. Lintilhac Seminar in Asian Studies. The talk will revolve around my new book, Interpreting Islam in China: Pilgrimage, Scripture, and Language in the Han Kitab. I’m grateful for Thomas Borchert and the Asian Studies Program for hosting me.

I’m also excited to join Ilyse Morgenstein Fuerst’s class during my stay. Thank you for inviting me to join you.
