I am grateful to have a copy of Akiro Matsumoto’s 松本耿郎 new book of essays on the writings of Ma Dexin 馬德新 (1794–1874), Introductory Research of Ma Dexin’s Philosophy  (Ma Dexin zhexue yanjiu xushuo 馬德新哲学研究序說).

I am especially touched because the equally remarkable scholar, Masumi Matsumoto (Akiro Matsumoto’s wife), personally sent me the book.
